John Hyland is the founder and publisher of Top Doctor Magazine, connecting more than 500,000 physicians with the best in medicine. He is also the spokesperson for a leading group of international medical clinics.
John graduated with a degree in Finance from Liberty University and immediately started a telecom company in 1988.
He eventually built that company to more than 400 employees and his company installed over 20,000 miles of fiber optic cables in the United States. If you make a phone call or use the internet, there is a good chance that it is done on one of the lines his company installed. In 2003 his major clients, MCI WorldCom and Adelphia Business Solutions, went bankrupt, owing John and his company more than $7 million dollars. He had to sell off his franchised restaurants and mortgaged his house to pay his payroll.
He took his business experience and his construction business and moved into, at that time, the very lucrative housing business. John built or renovated more than 200 homes and buildings and became so accomplished that he was invited to speak professionally on this subject. He has met many living HUD (Housing and Urban Development) Secretaries since Jack Kemp. The largest house John built was a 20,000 square foot mansion in Columbus, Ohio.
John is also a highly sought after business coach, speaker and trainer. John began professionally speaking around the world in 2003. One of his best online offerings sold $10 million in just ten weeks. He has sold more than 2.000 properties in the last 10 years. He has sold from stage approximately $20 million of educational and motivational courses. John has spoken in Iceland, Israel, Japan, Canada, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Mexico and in major cities across the United States. John has promoted other speakers and products on the largest seminar stages in the world, including Learning Annex, Get Motivated and a host of other worldwide stages.

The charity has among its alumni, Yao Ming (Houston Rockets), Tracy McGrady (Toronto Raptors), Lorenzo Romar (University of Arizona, Assistant Head Coach), Marvin Bagley (Duke) and Cody Riley (UCLA).
John is a husband of 36 years and the father of two awesome children.
